Objectives
In accordance with the objectives of the Faculty of Engineering, the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program at Sam Ratulangi University strives to produce graduates who meet the demands of stakeholders, expand access to services to all levels of society and provide academic and professional services needed by stakeholders.
General purpose
Produce citizens who have the following qualifications:
- Having high integrity, namely being honest and firm in upholding moral values based on Pancasila
- Educated and ethical so that they can be good role models in social life
- Think, act and behave as a scientist.
- Able to apply the knowledge and technology learned to formulate solutions to problems faced in their duties and responsibilities and in society.
- Able to follow the development of science and technology in accordance with their field of expertise.
Special purpose
Producing graduates who have the skills so that:
- Having competitiveness and competence in the field of building construction according to the needs of stakeholders in the Pacific region.
- Able to produce quality research that can make a significant contribution to the advancement of science and technology and be useful for the welfare of society.
- Able to provide services and solutions to community problems in the Pacific region related to Civil Engineering.
- Expanding networks and collaboration for the sustainable development of the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program in the Pacific region
