Academic Policy Unsrat Faculty of Engineering 2019 – 2022

Education Sector Policy

Academic policies in the field of education cover aspects of input, process, output and outcome, which are derived from the 2018-2022 Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Engineering.

Input
  1. Strengthening the new student admission program at all levels in accordance with quality standards.
  2. Implement a quality and fair student admission system by always prioritizing academic achievement and equality of access, as well as paying attention to competence, transparency, and accountability.
  3. Improve the performance of the academic and administrative staff recruitment system according to the quality standards set for improvement.
  4. Develop cooperation with Senior High School
Process
  1. Improving the quality of the undergraduate learning process
  2. Expanding study programs for S1, S2, S3.
  3. Improving the quality of the learning process of specific educational programs.
  4. Improve the competence of academic staff.
  5. Improve the competence of administrative staff.
  6. Strengthening student development programs (Soft Skill Improvement).
  7. Developing UPT Computer
  8. Developing UPT Library
  9. Developing a Laboratory within the Faculty of Engineering.
  10. Develop and improve the quality of the academic administration system, finance, and asset management of the Faculty of Engineering.
  11. Implement a meritocracy-based academic and administrative management system
  12. Improve the Quality Assurance program
  13. Provide incentives through Tridharma activities based on a meritocratic system.
  14. Develop reward and feedback patterns for the academic community.
  15. Pioneering and developing cooperation with accreditation and rating agencies.
Output and Outcome
  1. Increase accreditation rating
  2. Improve alumni performance in getting or creating jobs and in increasing competence
  3. Increased collaboration and networking with output users
  4. Develop partnerships with universities and other national and international institutions.

Research Policy

Academic policies in the field of research cover aspects of input, process, output and outcome, which are derived from the 2018-2022 Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Engineering.

  1. Improving the quality of research proposals.
  2. Develop research based on internal sources.
  3. Develop research based on national competition.
  4. Developing research based on potential and local wisdom for national competition.
  5. Develop partnerships with provincial and/or district/city governments.
  6. Develop partnerships with non-educational government institutions
  7. Develop partnerships with national financial institutions.
  8. Develop partnerships with universities and other national and international institutions Increase entrepreneurial cooperation with BUMN / BUMD and
    Private.
Process
  1. Improving the competence of academic staff
  2. Developing UPT Computer and PTI, Language, Library, and Integrated Laboratory
  3. Developing Faculty Laboratory in UNSRAT
  4. Implement a meritocracy-based academic and administrative management system
  5. Improve the Quality Assurance program
  6. Provide incentives through Tridharma activities based on a meritocratic system.
  7. Develop reward and feedback patterns for the academic community.
Output and Outcome
  1. Develop national and international research publications.
  2. Develop institutional publications through websites, print and electronic media.
  3. Increasing the "Revenue Generating Program"
  4. Increasing the participation of the academic community in national and international scientific forums.

Academic policies in the field of community service include aspects of input, process, output and outcome, which are derived from the 2018-2022 Strategic Plan of the Faculty of Engineering.

  3. Develop community service based on national competition.
  4. Developing community service based on potential and local wisdom for national competition.

  8. Develop partnerships with universities and other national and international institutions.
