Information on S2 Scholarships for Domestic and Overseas Kemenkominfo FY 2021

The Ministry of Communication and Information through the Research and Development Agency for Human Resources has again opened the Domestic and Foreign Masters Scholarship Program in 2. This program is a manifestation of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology's commitment to developing human resource capacity, especially in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). ). This scholarship program is open to Central and Regional government officials including the TNI and POLRI as well as the general public from private institutions.
As a form of policy during the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning method of the Domestic Masters Scholarship Program follows government policy. Meanwhile, the departure of the recipients of the Overseas Masters Scholarship Program will take into account the conditions of the development of the pandemic, government policies and universities in the study destination country and the learning methods that will be used. In the event that the policy of the university and the study destination country uses the distance learning method or applies online learning, scholarship recipients will follow the learning process in their respective cities of domicile or according to the applicable regulations.

A. S2 DOMESTIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM MINISTRY OF COMMINFORMATION FY 2021

General Requirements for Domestic Masters Scholarship Program:

1. Minimum working period of 2 years;
2. Do not have a master's degree and are not currently participating in a master's education program from another institution;
3. Other requirements follow the requirements of each selected tertiary institution; and
4. Scholarship applicants are only allowed to register for regular classes.

Special Requirements for Civil Servants:

1. Civil Servants (PNS) in Central and Regional government agencies, TNI/POLRI have active status;
2. Minimum working period of 2 years (starting from becoming a civil servant for applicants from civil servants);
3. Maximum age of 37 years at the time of registration;
4. For civil servants in the 3T (Lagged, Frontier, and Outermost) areas, the maximum age is 42 years at the time of registration. The list of 3T regions refers to Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 63 of 2020 concerning Designation of Underdeveloped Regions of 2020 – 2024 dated 27 April 2020 and Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2017 concerning Designation of Outermost Small Islands dated 2 March 2017;
5. Obtain permission and recommendation from the authorized official (minimum the head of an Echelon II level agency) in the relevant agency to undergo education;
6. Minimum GPA standard requirements are 3,00 for the fields of communication and Leadership and Policy Innovation and a minimum of 2,90 for the field of informatics;
7. Not intended for civil servants with functional positions of teachers in education sector agencies; and
8. Specific requirements that must be met to participate in the Communication Sciences Masters Scholarship Program are the duties and functions related to government information and public relations services and the special requirements that must be met to participate in the Informatics Scholarship Program, are their duties and functions related to the governance of Information and Communication Technology ( ICT)/Information Security as well as special requirements that must be met to participate in the Leadership and Policy Innovation Masters Scholarship Program are their duties and functions related to policy making in the relevant agency.

Special Requirements for General Public:

1. Indonesian Citizen (WNI);
2. The maximum age of applicants is 33 years at the time of registration;
3. Work background in the Information and Communication Technology sector and local startup actors;
4. Minimum working period of 2 years;
5. Obtain permission from the competent leadership to undergo education;
6. Include a letter of recommendation or a letter of recommendation from a leader, lecturer or other person who has credibility;
7. Minimum GPA standard requirements are 3,00 for the field of communication and Leadership and Policy Innovation and a minimum of 2,90 for the field of informatics; and
8. Other requirements follow the requirements of each selected College.
