Workshop on Academic Advisory Lecturers and Implementation of Study Program Website Updates

The Institute for Learning Development and Development (LP3) at Sam Ratulangi University held a Workshop for Academic Advisors and Implementation of Study Program Website Updates on 7 – 8 February 2019. This activity was officially opened by the Rector of Unsrat represented by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Prof. Dr. Ir. Grevo S. Gerung, M.Sc. whose participants come from study program coordinators at Unsrat, including the coordinator of the informatics engineering study program. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ir. Grevo S. Gerung, M.Sc emphasizes the importance of the role of academic supervisors in the success of student studies which must have been started since students entered college.

One of the agendas in this workshop is training on updating the study program website for study program coordinators brought by a team from UPT ICT Unsrat. In this training, participants are given additional skills related to the use of the study program website in planning, controlling and evaluating academic activities carried out in the study program.

In addition, participants were also given training on the use of Unsrat e-learning in supporting the implementation of the duties of online academic supervisors. This training was delivered directly by the Head of LP3 Learning Technology and Innovation Center Alwin M. Sambul, ST, M.Eng, Ph.D. This two-day activity is expected to benefit all participants in carrying out academic activities in their respective study programs.
