Meet Up with the Informatics Engineering Alumni Association in Jakarta

On Tuesday, 15 November 2022, Informatics Engineering lecturers had the opportunity to visit informatics engineering alumni who are currently working in Jakarta and its surroundings. The meeting location was held at a restaurant in the Kebun Sirih area, Menteng District, Jakarta. This meeting was attended by around 25 alumni of the Informatics Engineering Study Program from various generations. In this meeting, they discussed work experience in the IT world in Jakarta, the obstacles encountered, and the suitability between the curriculum followed during lectures and the work currently occupied.

Informatics Engineering alumni have worked in various fields, but are still pursuing Informatics Engineering. Several fields of work are occupied, such as start-up companies, banking, finance, private companies and others spread across Jakarta and its surroundings. It is hoped that activities like this can be carried out more frequently, not only in Jakarta but in other areas where there are alumni of the informatics engineering study program.
