Workshop on Preparation of Thesis Proposals from KDK Multimedia

On this occasion, we will share information about the final thesis writing workshop activities held by KDK Multimedia for Informatics Engineering students at UNSRAT. This workshop aims to assist students in completing their final assignments more effectively and with quality.

This thesis writing workshop activity is an initiative of KDK Multimedia, an institution that focuses on the development and utilization of information technology and multimedia. This workshop is aimed at students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Sam Ratulangi University (UNSRAT) as an effort to improve the quality of their final thesis writing. The main objective of this workshop is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to complete the final thesis in a comprehensive and quality manner.

The objectives of this activity are:

  1. Understanding the Structure of Thesis Final Project: This workshop will provide an in-depth understanding of the structure that must exist in the final thesis project. Students will be taught about the essential parts that must be owned in their final project, such as introduction, literature review, methodology, research results, conclusions, and bibliography.
  2. Effective Writing Techniques: Apart from structure, this workshop will also focus on effective writing techniques. Students will be taught how to compose clear, coherent, and easy-to-understand sentences and paragraphs so that the message to be conveyed in the final project can be conveyed properly.
  3. Time Management and Writing Plan: Writing a final thesis project can be a challenging process, especially if it is not well organised. In this workshop, students will be taught about time management and how to plan their final project writing so that it can be completed on time.
  4. Correct References and Citations: The use of proper references and citations is very important in thesis final project. This workshop will help students understand how to properly cite and refer to sources according to the rules of academic writing.
  5. Final Project Presentation and Defense Tips: As the final part of writing their final project, students must present and defend their research results. This workshop will also provide tips on how to appear confident and face questions from the examiner.

This workshop will be held in several sessions with an interactive and collaborative approach. Methods used include:
