Call for 2021 Matching Fund Program Proposal

On January 19, 2021, a letter was received from the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture Number: 0094/E.E3/KS/2021
Subject: Call for 2021 Matching Fund Program Proposal
The contents of the letter are addressed to:

  1. Leader of State Universities
  2. Head of Higher Education Service Institution Region I to XVI
  3. Private College Leader
  4. Actors of the Business World and the Industrial World
    within the Directorate General of Higher Education Kemendikbud

with the contents of the letter as follows:

The Minister of Education and Culture has issued Decree Number 754/P/2020 concerning Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of State Universities and Higher Education Service Institutions within the Ministry
Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) which contains eight KPIs. The target to be achieved is to improve the quality and relevance of higher education graduates through improving the quality of higher education lecturers, improving the quality of the curriculum and learning processes. This is in line with the policy Kampus Merdeka - Merdeka Belajar which was also proclaimed by the Minister of Education and Culture in early 2020.

As an effort to encourage, facilitate and accelerate universities in achieving the eight KPIs as referred to above, the Ministry of Education and Culture through the Directorate General of Higher Education launched the Matching Fund Program along with a budget of Rp. 250.000.000.000 (two hundred and fifty billion rupiah) for 2021 funding. This program is designed to increase the usefulness and relevance while at the same time harmonizing the development of science and technology in higher education so that it is in line with meeting the needs or solving problems in the business and industrial world (DUDI) and society.

In this regard, we hereby invite people from universities (Universities, Institutes and Colleges) and DUDI who have agreed to partner through Kedaireka, including the agreement
funding, to participate in the 2021 Matching Fund Program. The forms of partnership that can be proposed in this program are as follows:

  1. One College with one DUDI;
  2. One College with several DUDI;\
  3. Multiple Universities with one DUDI; and/or
  4. Multiple Colleges with multiple DUDI.

Acceptance of proposals starts on January 25 to June 30, 2021 through the Kedaireka platform (kedaireka.id) and proposed by university lecturers who have been registered at Kedaireka. Determination of beneficiaries is carried out
through a first come first served proposal selection process. As a guide in the preparation of the proposal, we hereby attach the 2021 Matching Fund Program Guide.
